Repeat assignments from satisfied customers have established Carney-Neuhaus, Inc.  as on of South Florida's quality consulting firms.  Founded in 1993 by Eleanor J. Carney, P.E. the firm doubled in size in 1997 with the acquisition of James E. Neuhaus, Inc.  We are a multi-disciplined consultant offering services from feasibility studies to planning, design, permitting, construction administration, and land surveying, as well as, data base management.  We serve clients in the private and public sectors, having worked for developers, attorneys, architects, general contractors, engineering consultants, school districts, cities, counties, and the State of Florida.

To provide maximum responsiveness to our clients, a project team, headed by one of our principals, is established for each project.  Under the principal-in-charge is a project manager who organizes the work effort, produces the engineering or surveying product, and supervises the staff.  This strategy and responsible follow through, is what makes our history for repeat business better than the rest.

Corporate President Eleanor J. Carney's professional experience includes time working in federal government, municipal government, and with private consulting engineering firms.  Vice president James E. Neuhaus was first licensed as a professional engineer in 1978 and has spent his entire career in consulting engineering including the 15 years as head of his own firm.  Other key personnel at Carney-Neuhaus, Inc. include professional engineers, Professional surveyors and mappers, computer system programmers/analysts, geographic information specialist and database administrators.

The firm is certified as a minority/women business by Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties; Florida Department of Transportation; Florida Department of Labor and Employment Security Minority Business Advocacy and Assistance Office; Dade County Public Schools; The School District of Broward County, The School District of Palm Beach County; and numerous other agencies.
