Housing Subdivision North Palm Beach, Florida

Nature’s Hideaway is a 17-lot,
environmentally sensitive subdivision on a 10-acre site in North Palm Beach, Central
Palm Beach County, Florida. Carney-Neuhaus, Inc. designed and provided permitting
services for the sewer, water, pavement, and drainage for this subdivision. The
infrastructure for this area was designed so as to avoid significant live oak trees that
exist throughout the entire property. The roadways were constructed using pervious
concrete pavement. The drainage for this property was designed with a series of small
detention areas, each with a weir, and discharging into the tidal wetlands located on
the site.

Boca Raton, Florida

The Polo Club in Boca Raton, southern
Palm Beach County, Florida, is an exclusive housing development in western Boca Raton.
This community was experiencing flooding in the existing developed portions of this
1000+ acre residential community. This firm performed topographic surveys and a drainage
study in order to determine the cause of this flooding. We were also responsible for the
design and permitting for additional storm water storage areas including an eight-acre
lake. We also obtained a permit from South Florida Water Management District for a
compensating storage lake, which was required for the runoff from the newly widened Jog
Road. We also provide survey layout and construction administration for this project.
